He has an energy and passion for new experiences to always keep learning and to easily adapt to new people, situations, and technology. Whether repositioning, launching, or integrating brands, he brings this spirit to all that he does. Peter is a Managing Director who leads and helped found the new mcgarrybowen SF office. He has line responsibilities for the global Intel brand and the Clorox Specialty brands.
Previously, Peter led the North American Staples account at mcgarrybowen NY, where the agency repositioned the brand from pure office supplies to everything your business needs to succeed, under the new line "make more happen." He also managed the relaunch and redefining of United's "fly the friendly skies" campaign in 2013. On both, he worked across all channels from within and outside of the Dentsu Aegis Network. He is a proven integrator who can lead multiple agencies and disciplines to develop holistic solutions that not only engage consumers but also build brands.
Prior to joining mcgarrybowen, he was at BBDO for 16 years where he was dedicated to Procter & Gamble's Gillette personal care brands, working on every new razor introduction from MACH3 to Fusion ProGlide. Gillette provided an ideal platform to leverage Peter's consumer understanding, strategic thinking, and innovation skills on an ongoing basis.
Peter's work has not only been recognized creatively by Cannes, W3, One Show, and Caples, but also for effectiveness by the Effies, AMEs, and the P&G Brand Building Awards.
